This class will meet once a week and work on various technique skills using many types of mediums.  Students will learn the basics of drawing through the use of such mediums as pencils, charcoal, pastels, and pen & ink.  Students will also begin basic clay sculpting and acrylic painting.  Begin studying famous artists and their style of art.  Concepts such as the color wheel, proportion, perspective, and distance will be studied.  Introduce art from various locations and cultures in the world.
