ART CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

"My daughter began taking art classes from Joy a year ago when she was 12 years old.  She had always shown an interest in art and seemed pretty talented at drawing.  A shy girl, she needed to find an outlet for her self-expression.  Art class has become that outlet and has provided her ample opportunities to shine and at the same time, given her much needed confidence and success in her abilities.  As parents, we are very pleased with how these classes have shaped her emotionally, but we are also equally impressed with the content of the classes.  Joy teaches her students how to use all the different art mediums, as she has worked with paints, clay, Indian ink, wood burning, pencil sketching, and possibly more that I'm unable to remember.  My daughter is absolutely thrilled to be starting her second year in art this fall, and we are excited to see all the beautiful creations that she will bring home!"
